Same here. I only have some from 2009 though (which are now deleted), not sure if those from 2010 also got deleted.

Halloween quests can't be completed after the Halloween event has finished so it makes sense that the quests are removed too otherwise they will be stuck there unless you abandon them.

This one can be though - it's endpoint, and reward, is in the underworld - the only festival NPC involved is the one that gives you the quest in the first place, so it doesn't make sense that this one was removed. I want my quest back, I was going to do it with friends this weekend.

The Waiting Game is completed once you get to Dhuum in the UW outside the hall of judgement from King Frozenwind same as last year. It makes sense for everything but The Waiting Game to be deleted.

The waiting game wasn't deleted last year and can be completed and handed in without halloween npc's.

But there is no precedent for festival quests being removed from players' quest logs, even when the festival has ended. Until the quest debacle today, I had quests on some characters left over from Wintersday last year. Some people (myself included), just like to keep them in the log for fun. So there is no reason why they'd choose to delete them from the logs this time. There is no way it was intentional to delete even the non-Waiting Game quests.

Btw, all of my wintersday quests etc were also removed. The entire Festival Quests tab was removed from the quest log.

maybee it has to do with the bugged items dropping during one of the quests. If they didnt remove it, The Mausoleum would still be acessible.

but indeed the waiting game was left in questlog last year, and not this year.

I had the Waiting from on my ranger from last year and was going to do it after the Halloween event was over but that???s out of the question now! I was going to do this with a couple friends. This is not the first time they did this; the other time was the Dragon Festival. Darkness at Kaitan was the quest from the Dragon Festival that I was trying to save it but they took it out when the event was over. I don???t know what to say now.

I am so very upset with Anet for their dumb mistake. They need to give it back. I spent a lot of time trying to get that quest on the characters that have access to ToA in order to do the UW at a time I decided to do UW with guild members, alliance and friends. NOT when they say we should've done it. Considering that would've given me 2000 ToT bags also to get my party title maxed or close enough to it.

I'm not one to hate on Anet, but this is clearly a ball being dropped on their end. Considering that last year the waiting game was still available in our quest logs AFTER the halloween festival was over and done with. We (my guild) were actually helping people go through the UW for those who had never done it or had it on characters that no one wanted to take into a party to go down and beat the UW with that quests. LAME SERIOUSLY LAME ANET!

they no doubt removed quests from people's quest logs to prevent them from being able to enter the mausoleum and farming more triple-modded, bugged weapons. I had waiting game on characters from last year even! but oh well.

the mausoleum and the waiting game are not even related. the mausoleum was for Prophecies quest line. The waiting game is in the Underworld.....

Wish they hadn't deleted it was I going to take some people through and I had 8 toons with the quest QQ oh well guess nothing can be done about it unless they readd it to the quest logs or something doubt it though.

My gaming buddy had no interest in Halloween quests last year, and thus no interest in the UW, so I was holding on to the Waiting Game until he could come around. Last week, I was finally able to convince him to do the solo quests and farm some skeletons with me to get his Legendary Survivor. Got him comfortable enough down there that he was starting to warm to the idea of trying The Waiting Game with me....

*SIGH*
